Falk Horning wants residents to think about recycling
Douglas Borough Council is 'working in a multistep process' to ease residents into fortnightly collections.
The chair of the councils environmental services committee says they've introduced communal bins for flats and apartments.
Falk Horning added a garden waste collection system will 'probably' be introduced by August.
This means people would not have to go to the civic amenity site to recycle their garden waste.
Mr Horning says the measures are so that people can think about recycling.
