Work won't be finished until August 2021
Government has pushed back the planned completion date for refurbishment works on Douglas promenade, to 17 August 2021.
Speaking at the October sitting of Tynwald, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer said the aim at that time was to finish by April 2021:
A new set of 'phasing plans' were presented at a drop-in session in Douglas last night, with representatives from infrastructure, enterprise, Manx Utilities and Auldyn Construction Limited attending.

It's thought the new sequence of work is to minimise the impact on prom businesses during the 'summer season' from May to September.
