Manx Care sets out plan for Friday
All face-to-face hospital appointments tomorrow morning have been cancelled.
Manx Care has outlined a plan for its services.
It says some appointments may be carried out over the phone instead – patients will be contacted individually if this is the case; those people who aren’t contacted will be sent a new appointment.
Endoscopy appointments scheduled for Friday morning have been cancelled along with maternity appointments and appointments in the community.
Routine breast screening in the morning has been cancelled but appointments will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Inpatient admissions, urgent appointments and GP appointments are continuing as normal.
The blood clinic will operate normally.
Manx Care says circumstances may change tomorrow depending on the weather – it’s asking people to check social media for the latest updates and to share details with friends and family.
