Rotary provides services and goodwill to create lasting change 

The president of Rotary International has visited the Isle of Man to meet with the three branches here. 

It's the first time in 100 years that a sitting president came over to the Island to meet with volunteers. 

Rotary provides service and goodwill to create lasting change with three branches locally of Douglas, Onchan and Rushen & Western Mann.

President Stephanie Urchick has described this visit as 'a special one':

On the Island, the Douglas branch has donated over a million pounds locally and internationally.

David Gawne says, over 15 years, £800,000 has gone towards 143 donations for 129 organisations and a further £300,000 has gone towards Rotary International for its End Polio Now campaign and towards victims of flood relief among others:
