Reports of long queues for people to pick up medication
A former health minister believes there needs to be more competition in the north of the Island to "shake up" the pharmacy system.
Eddie Teare was commenting after reports that people in Ramsey are having to wait in long queues at pharmacies to get prescriptions.
He says he waited just over an hour in a long line that extended outside the building.
Mr Teare told Manx Radio he first raised the issue during his term as minister:
BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
Majority of rates going up for residents across the Island
