Police confirm enquiries are ongoing
Four people have been arrested in connection with the theft of overhead electric railway cables from Baldrine.
Police say they’ve also recovered a quantity of cable which belongs to the Manx Electric Railway.
A quantity of cable is still outstanding.
The repair work to the tramlines - which were damaged when an oversized vehicle attempted to drive under the wires - could cost £5,000.
Enquiries are ongoing - officers have asked anyone with information to contact them on 631212 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
