Area remains 'unstable' say Garff Commissioners
The site of a landslide on Laxey promenade earlier this week remains unstable.
A spokesman for Garff Commissioners told Manx Radio that further rockfalls at the former End Cafe site have occurred overnight, and the pattern is expected to continue over the coming days.
The Commissioners are still in dialogue with the relevant government agencies and are hoping action will be taken to address the situation as a matter of urgency.
A brief statement from government confirmed that the Planning and Building Control sections are treating the landslip as a priority.
