Victorian Society wants more done
More should be done to protect the Island's unique heritage.
That's the view of a historian following the 150th anniversary of the birth of revered architect Baillie Scott, who spent his formative years in the Isle of Man.
Scott's work can be observed worldwide, but noted locally at sites such as Castletown police station and the Groudle Glen Hotel.
Bob Stimpson is the vice-chairman of the Isle of Man Victorian Society.
He says the current attitude towards building preservation isn't enough:
