Wagon unable to access bins in Seaview, Mountfield, Queens Road and Governors Road areas
Onchan Commissioners is asking residents in the village to consider how they park their vehicles.
It's as the authority's refuse wagon has not been able to access bins at the Seaview, Mountfield, Queens Road and Governors Road areas due to what it describes as 'illegal and inconsiderate parking' by some road users.
It's asked the Department of Infrastructure to repaint the double yellow lines.
It adds, if the refuse wagon is struggling to get through the roads, a fire engine will face the same problem, which could slow down a response to an emergency incident.
