£250 fine for returns not filed by Saturday 5th May
There's now less than a week for contractors and employers to submit their tax returns.
The deadline for the year ended 1 April is next Saturday, 5 May.
Failing to have your return in by that cutoff point will incur a £250 fine, with an additional penalty of £50 per day after that.
Liable parties can also face prosecution for not submitting returns.
The Income Tax Division is reminding employers the forms can now be filled out online, via gov.im/onlineservices.
