Flights between the Isle of Man and Southampton are to resume in time for the summer season.
Flybe is to reinstate the service to the south coast of England, offering three flights per week from May 1.
The route was dropped in February 2012 due to lack of demand, the load factor during winter of around 40 per cent said to make it unviable for the airline.
Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing, says the firm is committed to developing its network from both its Isle of Man and Southampton bases. Seats are already available for booking on its website.
