Manx Utilities restore connections
Manx Utilities says water supplies have been restored to about 40 households in the south, after a "major water burst" yesterday.
Water supply to the homes in Colby was disrupted at about midday when a water main in the area burst.
A stretch of the main road, between Glen Road and Mount Gawne Road, was closed while the problem was assessed.
Connections were restored by about five o'clock, after a temporary repair was put in place, and a permanent fix will be carried out by contractors later this week.
