Companies on the Isle of Man are being advised to make sure they have policies in place for when the weather conditions prevent employees making it into work.
The Island experienced a snow day on Tuesday, and with hazardous conditions out on the roads many people were stuck at home.
Emergency services were stretched and police advised motorists not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
Damian Warburton of the Manx Industrial Relations Service says, for those whose work requires them to be out on the road, it can be difficult to know what to do:
