The British Medical Association says it is 'incredibly disappointing' that doctors on the Isle of Man felt strike action was their last resort.
Industrial action was called off with less than 24 hours' notice after Manx Care issued a revised eight percent pay offer.
The union is understood to have recommended its members accept the offer but warns that the Isle of Man Government must 'value and listen' to medics to address waiting lists.
