Twenty-three-time TT winner John McGuinness has made it to the Isle of Man for this year's festival despite injury.
He fractured his leg and suffered multiple broken vertebrae after an incident at the North West 200 last month.
The Morecambe Missile says the last few weeks have been very hard for both him and his family.
McGuinness received a standing ovation when getting the ferry to the Island.
He says the support from fans has been really special:
