New charter seeks to redress balance
The Health Minister says treating mental and physical health issues will soon be given equal priority.
A new draft document, outlining her department's future responsibilities, will include a number of updated principles for the delivery of medical care.
These include giving users access to their records, reducing the Department's £11m deficit, and more.
Titled The National Health and Care Service (NHCS) Charter, the document is available online where it's under public consultation.
Kate Beecroft says it should provide much needed clarity:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
