The MHK who attempted to pass a vote of no confidence in the Health Minister says she feels let down by some of her colleagues.
South Douglas member Kate Beecroft called on David Anderson to step down ahead of review of the Island’s health service, amid serious concerns expressed by patients and consultants at Noble’s Hospital.
Mr Anderson was also accused of deliberately misleading the House of Keys over the issue.
In a personal statement to the court at the beginning of Tuesday's Tynwald sitting, Mr Anderson had told the court he would stand down if this was proved to be the case.
Mrs Beecroft’s motion was never put to the court as she did not have enough political colleagues to support her bid.
