Cannan urges critics to wait until policy options have been published
The treasury minister is warning against criticising plans to update legal aid on the Isle of Man before any firm policy ideas have been published.
Alfred Cannan was speaking after local advocate Pamela Pringle accused the Public Defender's Unit proposals of breaching human rights legislation.
Mr Cannan confirmed public consultations on criminal and civil aid will be held in the near future, and he's expecting policy suggestions to be put forward by the Attorney General in September or October.
