Onchan MHK seeks redundancy scheme figures
The policy and reform minister has assured Tynwald he will publish statistics about government's Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme, or MARS, "as soon as reasonably practicable."
Chris Thomas was responding to a question for written answer from Julie Edge MHK, who wanted to know what MARS, VARS and other redundancy scheme pay outs have been made since the schemes were introduced.
Ms Edge also wanted those figures broken down by departments, government offices or board, plus a range of statistics including what the savings were in salary and pensions as a result of those actions.
Mr Thomas said collating that information had not been possible "in the time available."
