A popular local Southern 100 rider who died during this year’s event did not suffer, an inquest has heard.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham today found that 23-year-old Mark Madsen-Mygdal sustained multiple injuries in a crash near Stadium Corner.
Mark’s bike collided with a competitor’s machine during the last lap of the 600cc Supersport race on July 11.
The accident happened when the race leaders came around the corner very close to one another.
