Fire service reminder to other drivers after heavy rain
Motorists are being urged to drive with care following heavy rain last night (2 August).
It follows a crash on Douglas Road in Kirk Michael.
A single vehicle rolled and collided with a bank which housed an overhead power line pole.
The driver was not injured but the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says it would like to emphasise that ‘roads can become slippery very quickly especially following the recent dry spell’.
