Number of recent developments aid 'ever-changing' sector
A reopened Mount Murray Hotel as well as the new Mannin Hotel should give the Island’s tourism sector a shot in the arm, according to experts.
UK consultants Hotel Solutions have produced a new report into the state of the Island’s hotels for the Department of Economic Development.
But the document, which points to a slow declining industry that needs government help, was completed before a number of recent tourism developments: including the sale of the Mount Murray and the possible closure of Douglas horse trams.
