The Mountain Road is open again following three accidents in less than an hour between 7 and 8 am this morning (Tues)
Two cars ended up on their sides, first at the Bungalow then at the Verandah . . . . followed by a third accident at the Black Hut a short time afterwards.
It's understood no-one was seriously injured in any of the incidents, which are thought to have been caused by drivers losing control of their cars after hitting patches of ice.
Police are reminding motorists to take extra care in the early morning, particularly over high routes where there could be ice or slippery patches.
