EU data protection rules will apply here
Chief Minister Allan Bell says new EU data protection rules coming in this year will apply to the Isle of Man.
He was facing questions this morning in Tynwald on the issue from Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan.
Mr Bell says the Island's Information Commissioner is briefing businesses on the changing regulations.
But he also added the rules have wide-ranging implications:

Polls open for Garff Commissioners by-election
Heritage groups call for historic property to be saved from demolition
New chair of Ramsey Commissioners says she has 'best interests' of ratepayers in mind
