No increase to budget says Minister
A new, public/private venture set up by the Department for Enterprise will be cost neutral.
That claim from the minister, Lawrence Skelly, who has been speaking about the formation of the four executive agencies: Finance Isle of Man, Digital Isle of Man, Business Isle of Man and Visit Isle of Man.
Six 'leaders' from the private sector are being sought: one to chair each agency, and one chief executive each for for 'Finance' and 'Digital'.
Mr Skelly says because of restructuring the new agencies don't require an increase to his department's budget:
