Not enough warning for members this month, says minister
A new gas agreement is set to go before Tynwald next month.
It's after Manx Gas announced a deal had been struck with government on a new pricing structure last week.
However, the Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer today stated in the court, it is too early for the subject to be debated, and called the organisation's press release "more than a little presumptuous."
He said he could've asked special permission to include it in this month's sitting, but that wouldn't have given his colleagues time to digest it.
