Broadcaster David Callister has thanked all the MHKs and members of the public who supported him during his successful attempt to gain a seat on the Legislative Council.
Mr Callister polled 13 votes in today's fourth ballot, comfortably defeating the only other contender, former MHK and MLC Pam Crowe, who got eight:
