More changes to the Isle of Man's bus timetable come into effect today (Monday).
A new schedule was introduced on September 13, after a major review of services.
However, a number of bus users were unhappy with the changes, and Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure David Cretney gave an undertaking to review and amend the schedule, where appropriate.
Today's changes include additional morning services between Onchan, and Governor’s Hill and Douglas; increased services to Port Jack and the promenades; the improvement of morning, evening and weekend services to Ballachrink and Onchan; and early weekend services from Anagh Coar to the new Noble's Hospital, the first of which will be this coming Saturday, October 23.
Mr Cretney says he always made it clear he would consider any comments made about the new bus timetable and fix problems where possible.
He adds that further adjustments will be made if required, and a review of the entire network will take place in December.
