Minister says media would tell story
Police on the Island do not retain information on items of evidence that have been lost, it's emerged.
Responding to a House of Keys written question by North Douglas MHK David Ashford, Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey suggested that, if items were lost, this would likely be highlighted by archived local media coverage.
He says no such coverage has come up in recent memory.
The Department also claims to have no recollection of lost evidence in the past five years.
