Project will begin 17 June
Work on the old railway line in Kirk Michael will begin in the next couple of weeks (Monday, 17 June).
A two-metre wide paved surface is to be laid, ditches cleaned and vegetation trimmed, according to the Department of Infrastructure.
The steps at the Orrisdale Loop Road are also due to be improved.
The ten-week project will require the closure of the path between Station Road in Kirk Michael and the Orrisdale Loop Road.
Island Drainage and Groundwork has been contracted to carry out the work on behalf of the DoI.
