
Organisers of the Island's new Festival of Motorcycling say they're optimistic the event will grow quickly - after a successful first year.
The festival introduced the Classic TT races to the middle weekend of the fortnight, with a shortened Manx Grand Prix later in race week.
Now in the hands of the Department of Economic Development, the drive is on to maximise marketing and merchandise opportunties at the event.
Motorsport Development Manager Paul Philips and the DED's political member for the sector Laurence Skelly are awaiting detailed economic feedback.
But they say the prospects for growth are good:
