Extraordinary sitting called for after House of Keys
Tynwald will meet later today for an extraordinary sitting of the court after the House of Keys has completed its short order paper.
The key item on the agenda, alongside updating Covid-19 regulations, will be potential debate on 'Our Island Plan'.
After seven questions for answer in the House of Keys, MHKs will move upstairs and join LegCo members for the extra sitting.
Their agenda paper starts with the Covid measures under the Public Health Act which require members approval before being officially accepted.
They will then require a simple majority to start discussion on the government's proposals for Our Island Plan.
That document was down for discussion last month but eight members voted against standing orders and prevented debate taking place at that time.
The president was then approached and asked to include the debate on today's agenda which he has agreed to providing members give the necessary approval.
