Best foot forward for Live at Home
A walk to get fit, have fun and raise funds for a local good cause is being held for the over-60's today (17 June).
Isle of Man Live at Home Schemes has organised the sponsored stroll along Douglas Promenade, starting at 2pm from the War Memorial.
The charity's encouraging everyone over 60 to take part, including those who need assistance or use a wheelchair.
Live at Home helps 700 older residents to live independently, and operates five schemes in the Island offering lunches, get-togethers and outings.
Today's walk is just under one mile and the event will be started by the Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney, who will take part.
