Warning from IOM Wildlife Crime team
People are being asked to be extra careful around nesting birds - after three eggs were found 'trampled'.
The warning comes from the Isle of Man Constabulary Wildlife Crime team.
It says an Oystercatcher nest with three eggs, was discovered in the state last week on the Ayres.
Officers say the area is important for nesting birds and the public should keep their dogs on leads.
