Event to be held at UCM in February
Apprentices from the Isle of Man will pit their skills against those of their counterparts from Jersey and Guernsey at the Pan-Island Skills Test 2026.
It's being held next month at UCM's Homefield Campus.
The day long event on 13 February will see the apprentices compete in real time challenges in disciplines like brickwork, carpentry & joinery and electrical installation.
Members of the public are invited to attend the event, which begins at 10am and finishes with a prize presentation at 5pm.
Visitors will have the chance to see the next generation of skilled professionals in action, meet the teams and learn more about vocational education on the Island.
It's also an opportunity for employers to gauge the skill levels of potential future employees.
The competition is sponsored by a number of local companies.
