Interim service to start in November, Minister tells Tynwald
A pilot scheme for Manx patients with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome, will get underway next month.
Health Minister David Ashford confirmed a locum consultant neuropsychologist has been appointed to work with those with the illness.
He announced plans to implement a pathway for the 350 patients dealing with the condition on the Island earlier this year.
Mr Ashford told Tynwald that service will be ready to begin in the coming weeks:
A small protest campaigning for improved care for ME patients took place ahead of this morning's sitting.
