Aim of all-year opening - but Cafe closed next summer
The Cosy Nook in Port Erin will remain closed next summer, as the village local authority implements its long-term plan for the popular cafe.
Port Erin Commissioners would like to see the eatery open all year and are in the process of choosing an architect to draw up designs for the site.
Chairman Nick Watterson says redeveloping the Cosy Nook so it last decades, rather than a short-term fix, will give ratepayers' value for money.
He's certain the Board is moving in the right direction.
