The first significant regulations for a number of years to help conserve the Isle of Man's fish stocks are being introduced this weekend.
The bye-laws are the responsibility of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and the aim is to ensure the fisheries are well looked after.
Chief executive of the Manx Fish Producers' Association Tom Bryan-Brown says they represent a significant step forward:
