MHK queries introduction of permits
Introducing permits for parking in Pulrose could help alleviate residents’ issues with finding somewhere to park.
That’s one of the suggestions put forward by a Douglas South MHK.
Residents have told Manx Radio that they’re struggling with ‘illegal’ parking.
They've highlighted issues with campervans and work vans being left in the area and cars parked in Pulrose by people who don’t live there due to there being no disc zones.

Residents have told Manx Radio concerns have been raised with the police, Department of Infrastructure and Douglas Borough Council.
Claire Christian says she believes the council is attempting to address the issue by reminding tenants of their responsibilities:
