New rules applied retrospectively
People who travelled to the Isle of Man before the border level changed will have their self-isolation period reduced.
New Public Health regulations, approved by Tynwald yesterday, can be applied retrospectively to those who came to the Island before May 1.
It means anyone who was in isolation at 12.01 on Friday, 30 April can now benefit from seven days isolation instead of 14.
They will also be eligible to claim a partial refund on their Covid-19 tests after the price of a test dropped from £50 to £30 in line with the borders dropping to Level 3.
The change is only applicable to those who've been in the UK, or Channel Islands, for 14 days prior to returning to the Island and who've opted to take the testing pathway.
Reduced isolation is subject to a negative Covid-19 test on day six – with additional restrictions in place between days seven and 10.
The Isle of Man Government says the Travel Notification Service will contact those who are affected by the changes.
