Crew management service being moved
A number of redundancies are to be made on Island by a global ship management company.
V Ships - part of V Group - is transfering its crew management and other related support services to another jurisdiction.
The company says the move is part of a review of its global operations to meet the needs of its clients.
It says, as a result, that employees have been informed their services are no longer needed - and is now in consultation with them to help mitigate their concerns.
