Schools across Island can reopen from 15 June
The education minister says he hasn't come under pressure to reopen schools, any earlier than is safe to do so.
Dr Alex Allinson was speaking at an emergency coronavirus session of the Public Accounts Committee.
All schools around the Island will be able to reopen on Monday (15 June), with children from hub facilities able to return to their normal schools from Wednesday (17 June).
Dr Allinson says the department has taken all the necessary precautions to make reopenings safe:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
