The Isle of Man Water Authority has closed some of its reservoirs and lakes to anglers, in response to the foot and mouth disease outbreak.
Access to Kerrowdhoo, Sulby, Clypse, Injebreck’s east bank, Block Eairy and Eairy Dam are currently closed.
Cringle, Ballure, and Injebreck’s west bank remain open and will continue to be stocked.
The authority says the situation is being reviewed pending further developments, and notices are being put up to show where the public is permitted to fish.
The measures were requested by the Government’s Emergency Planning Committee.
