The Draft Southern Area Plan is up for discussion at a public meeting later today.
Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen and the parish commissioners have arranged the meeting, which will be chaired by John Kennaugh at Ballasalla Village Hall, from 7.30pm.
The long awaited document was released last month for public consultation.
Commissioners' clerk Barry Powell hopes Ballasalla and Malew residents come along and let the commissioners know their views.
He says there are many issues to consider:

BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Thirteen people entered or tried to enter the Island without immigration permission since January 2025
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Thousands tell Steam Packet what they want to see replace Manannan
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
