Supermarket shelves will be replenished tonight, after gales at the weekend stopped fresh food arriving from the United Kingdom.
The fresh produce pick-up yesterday morning was cancelled after the Ben my Chree was unable to sail from Douglas to Heysham on Saturday night.
Many shelves were emptied of bread, fruit, vegetables and fresh savoury produce.
The boat sailed again this morning when the gales died down and staff at some stores are returning to work this evening to help deal with the fresh produce when it arrives.
