Works to replace failed cats' eyes will get underway tomorrow
Motorists using the Douglas to Ramsey Coast Road will see signage and equipment being installed today (17 February) ahead of a series of daytime closures from tomorrow.
It's to allow for the removal of old failed cats' eyes and the installation of new road studs on the route.
The work starts in Ramsey tomorrow (18 February) with a rolling road closure moving towards Onchan each day between 9.30am and 4.30pm until the scheme is completed.
Buses will still be able to use the route during the closures and if the Mountain Road has to close at any point the work will be suspended.
