Minister says some meals were found to be over recommended calorie levels
Some meal portion sizes in Manx primary schools have recently been reduced as some were found to be over recommended calorie levels.
That's according to the education minister who says some dessert sizes are now being lowered and a limit of one portion of carbohydrates per child has been advised.
It follows discussions between DESC, Public Health, a government dietician and members of the primary school catering team.
