June Beardmore died last month
Organisers of the Southern 100 have paid tribute to a 'great, longstanding friend and supporter'.
Along with husband John, lifelong race fan June Beardmore donated thousands of pounds to charities linked to the races.
The couple attended the Southern 100 - affectionately known as the 'friendly races - no less than 36 times in 40 years.
June passed away on 17 December following a short illness.
John is currently in hospital.
Southern 100 Racing's Phil Edge applauded their generosity, and says the couple were real 'race anoraks'.
