But May was the coldest since 2015
Spring 2021 has ranked as the Isle of Man's third sunniest on record.
Ronaldsway Met Office has published the data from the start of the year which shows there was 626.9 hours of bright sunshine.
While the season as a whole was one of the sunniest the month of May was actually the coldest since 2015.
A mean temperature of 10°C was more than a degree below the 30-year mean.
It was also the wettest May in the last six years, with 67 per cent more rainfall than normal, and more than half of the month's rain happening in just two days.
At the start of the month the minimum air temperature was the lowest on record since 1997, at 1.5°C, but at the weekend on Sunday 30 May the Island saw a high of 19.2°C.
That was the hottest day on the Island since last September.
