A chalice stolen from Jurby church last week has been recovered by police.
A 22 year old Ramsey man has been arrested and interviewed in connection with the theft and bailed pending further enquiries.
Two silver plates which were also taken in the incident are still missing.
Police say they believe the chalice and plates may have been offered for sale to dealers and are asking anyone who may have information to get in touch with police headquarters on 631 212.
Sergeant Andy Kneen from Ramsey police says whilst there has been an arrest, enquiries are ongoing throughout the Island.
